Attendance Policy
Attendance policies are based on the principle that regular attendance maximizes the student’s interaction with his or her teacher and peers, and is a major component of academic success. Students are expected to attend scheduled classes. Any time missed from class is an opportunity for learning that cannot be retrieved in its entirety unless the lesson is repeated. Each class or course offering has specific time requirements that must be completed in order to obtain an end of class certificate or card.
Cancellation of Online Courses
Refunds will be given to the person canceling online classes prior to the start of the workshop/training. For traditional classes, registrants must cancel at least five or more business days prior to the start of training/workshop to receive a full refund. Refunds are only issued in the same tender used for payment. Refunds take approximately 7 days to process.
Cancellation of Scheduled Training Sessions and Onsite Classes
For traditional classes, registrants who cancel their registrations at least one week (five business days) before the start of the workshop will receive a refund minus a 3% processing fee. No credits or refunds will be given for cancellations less than one week (five business days) before the start of the workshop. Refunds take approximately five business days to process.
We reserve the right to cancel any workshop, in which case participants will receive a full refund. Registrants will be notified by email and phone.
Course Requirements
To receive a certificate of completion, students must successfully complete the course within the allotted period and meet the requirements established by the certifying agency.
Payment
Payments must be received in full one week (five business days) prior to schedule training sessions.
Punctuality
Because of the disruptive nature of tardiness and the detrimental effect upon the rights of the non-tardy student, learners are expected to be punctual to ensure uninterrupted learning and the fulfillment of course time requirements.
